Parking/Access Road Notes: Lot on Tripoli Rd had just a few spots left at 8am. Saw some on road nearby in afternoon.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The few small "crossings" were dry.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail is in good shape.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw one group of four dogs, with two humans, going up. On the east peak there was a group who had a medium sized dog. They had come up via Greeley Pond Trail. They had to help the dog up a few steep climbovers, so decided to skip going to the Osceola main peak.
Bugs
Bugs: A few mosquitos down low, but DEET spray works well on those.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found an empty beverage bottle down low, off to the side and tucked under a tree root, left by someone too lazy to pack it out. I brought it out.

Comments
Comments: The Osceolas are always a nice hike, with that great view up top. Weather was good, although I could feel the humidity creeping back in, with some haze in the long views.
