Excellent day for a Presidential Traverse with low winds, sun with high clouds and super views. It was nice crossing paths with many others today enjoying the Presidentials. Howker Ridge to Pine Link out to Pinkham B road was an interesting way to descend with several viewpoints and a few spots thick with delicious blueberries. The trail eventually descends into alternating evergreen and old growth hardwood forests. Looking foward to returning to view the fall foilage . |
