Talked with the staff at the fish hatchery, for the summer the gate closes at 10PM (NOT 4). |

Saw many dogs on this hike, no issue for pets. |

Doing the full loop (counter clockwise) was a fairly gradual hike up. Coming down from Cabot was definitely steeper than the hike up the other side. If you prefer to do the steep hike on the way up, go clockwise. The cabot cabin is still being worked on and is closed. |
