First time ascending the south fork of the Hancock Loop Trail. I think that ascent is definitely less strenuous than ascending the north fork.
Bushwhack to Northwest Hancock was more challenging than I anticipated. Definitely you need to know how to navigate off trail, and expect lots of scratches and cuts.
Descending the Cedar Brook Slide was tricky; very loose sand and rock. |
