 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
On the road in you come to a junction with some signage, there is a sign for East Kennebago with an arrow pointing in the wrong direction. Stay to the right. The traditional parking area is not reachable by a low clearance vehicle. I was able to make it up a decent ways past the look-out parking area. Most of the drive was slow white knuckle driving for a 2WD sedan, extremely rocky and steep with high risk for bottoming out. Beautiful views from the road though. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
ATV trail is overgrown with waist high vegetation but easy to follow, multiple old skidder roads branching off the main path. Eventually turns into a single track in the evergreens. Boundary cut is marked by the yellow stake on the left, easy to follow with occasional yellow markings on trees. Boundary cut merges into a single distinct herd path which takes you right to the canister. Soft footbed with not much erosion! |

 | Comments: |
First peak of a three day 6 pack. Parked the car around 8AM, only other people I saw were ATVers on the way out. Overall easy out and back with nice views from the ATV trail and road. |
