 | Comments: |
Standard CCW loop. Trails are mostly dry with some wetness in the usual places: along the falls on FTW and approaching the hut on Greenleaf Trail.
Due to the sunny skies, very warm temps and zero wind today's focus was on sun protection (floppy hat, sleeves) and water: I topped off with 2 liters above Cloudland Falls and that served me well until reaching the hut (spring below Lafayette has a very slow flow). Beyond that it was a great day on the ridge with surprisingly minimal crowds. Not having hiked in nearly two months (!) this was a nice return to the hills :) |
