Comments
Comments: We used microspikes on Nineteen-Mile Brook trail in both directions to/from about 0.5 miles up Carter Dome Trail. Once on Carter Dome Trail, we had to switch to snowshoes, which we stayed in until we returned on our descent. Nineteen-Mile Brook trail had some significant ice, so some traction is required. The trail between South and Middle Carter is fairly well broken out now - although it was just the two of us and one other solo hiker that we met along the way. Beautiful bluebird sky this morning.
