Comments
Comments: A great day for this hike. Despite cloudy and extremely humid conditions Its always a pleasure walking through the deciduous forest along the stream. Above the outlook today to the summit was like walking in a cloud. it was also nice to see the cabin has the new roof shingles installed as well as an exterior and partial interior paint job. Cabin is now open and spoke with a hiker that just spent the night there. The library and bar could use a restocking as the shelves are bare with the exception of a bottle of hand sanitizer. it was nice chatting with the hiker working on their 48 as well as the family of backpackers. i encountered a torrential downpour on the way down for about a half hour.
