| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Small lot along NH16. As long as folks parked right next to each other, obviously not crowding door openings, there’s a decent amount of space, with a wide shoulder along NH16, allowing enough room to safely open back hatch to get gear. No fees required. We arrived at 9am with ample parking. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
One crossing - Imp Brook. It was easy to cross with large boulders and rocks to step on |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trail was in great condition. The only possible maintenance I saw was 2 missing rungs in the ladder. Because of the large gaps these 2 rungs left, it made using the ladder difficult and cumbersome. It’s obvious hikers are choosing to climb alongside the ladder instead. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Only saw one dog. But this trail is perfect for dogs. We ascended from northern trailhead to cliff top then went back down same route. This northern route had great footing, with Imp Brook at the beginning, allowing humans and dogs to cool off before getting to car. |
|
| Bugs: |
For first time this season, we did not put on bug repellent. There were a couple of mosquitoes buzzing around at the beginning and a few annoying gnats coming down. Overall, it was a pretty bug-less hike considering it was humid with virtually no breeze |

| Comments: |
Great hike. We ascended from the northern trailhead to the clifftop then back down same route. We did not do the full loop. It was very humid and hazy out, coupled with clouds, we did not get great views. Next time I would do the full loop, ascending northern trailhead, descending southern, on a beautiful clear day. |
