There is a large (12" diameter) blow down maybe 1/2 mile before you get to the spur trail to Bald Peak. It's about 4' above the trail. I trimmed some branches so it is a bit more easily ducked under. |

Nice conditions early today, cool, not too humid or buggy. Good mountain top views with undercast clouds. |
