Room for 3 or4 cars at small lot 3 miles north of Ellis River bridge on Rt 16 in Jackson. I have been past the trailhead many times and before today had never noticed the hiker or trail sign. |

We were able to cross the river with poles and waterproof boots by stepping on slightly submerged rocks. |

A nice quick hike to a substantial waterfall. Even with the low water flows the falls are impressive. |
