Comments
Comments: Completed this 9.6m hike in 5 hrs. The air quality was very poor today due to the high humidity and the all of the smoke from the wildfires. I knew there was a little bit of smokey haze, but didn't think it was this bad. Normally a trail like this wouldn't give me any trouble but I was breathing like it was my first ever hike. Anyways, it was pleasant for the most part besides that. the rock slabs were pretty dry and reminded me of Mt monadnock. Some of the rock slabs towards the end of the trail were wet, mossy, and slippery. Shame the views were poor due to the hazy skys.

My dog did very well of the rock slabs and had no trouble on them. If your dog has any experience hiking 4k's, then they would not have any issues with this.
