Comments
Comments: Clouds and misty rain spoiled our views but it was a pretty forest with lots of mushrooms. Fire tower ruins always fun to look at and a trip to the pit mine and into one of the caves (we went inside and there were lots of spiders) made for more excitement. The steep climb up and over the summit down to the south ledges and then on the return you have to climb Iron Mt. again makes this just under 4 mile hike a good workout. I am taking the gals back there on a sunny day someday.
