Comments
Comments: Today's adventure brought us back to Iron Mountain. It had been 8 years since we hiked this mountain and our friend Dave the Cave Expert found a new abandoned mine on Iron Mountain, so off we went to see the new mine. The day was beautiful, clear and breezy. We visited the cliffs first for lunch, then headed down, down, down and revisited the mines we previously found and lastly visited the new ones. There are a total of 5 on the mountain. What a great day, we were all exhausted by the end of the day. Trails were dry, moss was saturated from this last month of rain, but the hiking trails were fine. We did post a video of our adventure on Youtube for anyone interested in seeing the trail conditions or the hike. Click the link below.
