Granddaughters first "real" hike. Absolutely loved it. Great intro hike; not too difficult, blueberries in season, expansive ledges. Even a chance to learn trail etiquette, as many cyclists use this trail (they were an inspiration to the 8 year old, who loves her bike). When the trail splits, I would recommend counterclockwise. There is a nice view of Chocorua and Cathedral Ledge from here. Noticed trees are a little taller than last time we were up here, so some of the views are obstructed. But on the way down, the views are tremendous. Great hike to get kids interested.
