Trail in good shape. Many of small side paths near the beginning have been brushed blocked. The eroded "chute" is what it is. |

Nice early evening hike of Cannon-smoky,hazy skies from wildfires. It was quite muddy(deep in places) in the usual spots between the viewpoint and climb to the summit
