Comments
Comments: A beautiful day with some clouds that luckily cleared by the time I made it to the summit. It's been raining, though, so the trails were wet. Rocks were wet, there's lots of mud, and there was standing water and running water down Benton. Funny thing with the running water down the trail, as soon as I started to lose patience there would be a water bar/diversion, and the trail would be dry again. Happened like 3-4 times. I loved it. I enjoyed hiking both trails, although I'm glad I didn't have to hike down Beaver Brook. Benton was gorgeous, with soft forest floor and much less rock than I was expecting.
