Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of parking in the lot off of RT 16

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water is low, easy crossing. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Great shape, just one walk around blowdown on Stony Brook. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Good dog trail with the only water being down low. Some steep ledges on the Carter-Moriah trail as you approach Moriah. Should not be a problem for most dogs just be aware. 
Bugs
Bugs: Gnats, black flies, whatever you want to call them were bad on the Stony Brook trail. Not really biting but just plain old bombing your eyes, nose, mouth, and ears. A real treat on a humid sticky day.
