A FINE, relaxing and mellow walk in the forest for some friday night vert! Teamed up with Princess Feet and Moutine Runer for sheer sadistic fun - atleast on my end. Trail is still pretty slick end to end with wet rock and flowing water. The ridge walk from the lookout has returned to boot sucking mud. On the bright side, people pay good much for such treatment and it's offered free of charge here! There was little talking for me, sounding like a dying wilderbeast trying to catch them. They few times I was able to vocalize anything it sounded eerily similar to Nancy Kerrigan screaming "WHY!!! WHY!!!" (did I do this to myself. I was going to enjoy my Cannon beer on the summit but I made the adult decision to forego this. However, Princess Feet's pack opened somewhere near the outlook the first time by, so there was trail magic abound in shots that fell out along the way on trail... ha! On the way out, with a full head of steam and using my poles, i was able to use the kitty little half pipe of death to its full extend and was able to bank the turns, while making airplane noises like a four year old. That might have been the fireball liquid confidence.. hicc! lowered my PR tonight, too! 46/48 for July.... drip drip drip |
