Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None on this route.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Perhaps halfway up to the first outlook, there is a tree halfway down, leaning over the trail. It's an easy walkunder, unless you are tall or have your head down on the trail. But there are a few branch stubs hanging down that you would not want to butt your head into.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: None.
Bugs
Bugs: There were some black flies coming down; I had thought we were past them. Also, as with every trip up Jefferson, the top had bugs (nonbiting). What's with Jefferson?

Comments
Comments: Weather was much nicer than morning forecasts had said. Warm and humid, but the breeze above tree line was nice. Clouds moved over the high summits, but occasionally things would clear out, with views of Washington and Adams.

The checkmark for "wet trail" would have been "damp trail" if there were such. Rain the predious day and night made the low part in the woods damp, but pretty much mudless, while up where there was some light breeze things had dried out well.
