Comments
Comments: Saw a moose beside route 302 near Highland Center on drive to trailhead. Saw beaver in flowage near the beaver dam. White-throated sparrow at Zeacliff. Saw Joe Pye Weed and Northern Meadowsweet by boardwalk. Saw Mountain Avens by stream near the hut. Purple fringed orchid in Zealand wetlands. Goldenrod and Bunchberry on Bondcliff ridge.
Lots of local and AT hikers out today. Also, Pemi Loopers out and about. Two groups planned to stay at Guyot Campsite tonight.
There were great views from Zeacliff and all three Bond summits.
