| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails are great except for Webster Cliff, which is a nasty eroded, rocky, wet and muddy section calling out for help. Significantly, there is a bog bridge section that is being used as a thin air way across a steep ledge section. It has slipped and is wedged against a root at an angle. Care is needed as it wiggles when you add weight. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Several. With the views up and down the ridge I couldn't help notice some pups off trail, being dogs. Paws have an impact. |
|
| Bugs: |
No issues until starting down, and then only when stopped. |

| Comments: |
Great finish to a traverse using the huts. Picked a nice weather window on the Bermuda High following Elsa. Possible as there was vacancy in July. AMC went to fully open on 7/2 and the crowds are just starting to catch up. Madison had about 27 on Sat night, and Lakes was nearly full and accepting walkins on Sunday. Amazed at the number of backpackers, both through hikers and section folk needing to go between Nauman and Osgood/Valley Way sites to follow the rules. Seems like more capacity in between and besides the limited capacity of the Perch would lower impact of stealth camping? |
