Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Above their respective junctions, Black Cap Trail, Black Cap Spur, and Black Cap Connector are heavily eroded due to very heavy foot traffic. Again, hikers are working their way around rock steps for some reason.

Comments
Comments: These trails were a mix of dry and damp generally. Black Cap Trail has some sizable mud pits that folks are walking around and widening. The upper ledges were dry. Cranmore Trail has two new mountain bike trails which depart to the north; getting to be spaghetti-like up there.

Steamy air with little wind made for sweaty hiking.
