Comments
Comments: Followed the trails as listed above, taking lefts at all forks to the height of land southish of Mount Shatney; short bushwhack through open woods to the summit jar. Took a heading slightly Northeast so we caught the trail further north from where we entered the woods. Headed back to the junction with the East Loop, hung a left and followed it to the West Loop, continuing to a height of land north of the north peak. Short, very steep bushwhack to the jar. Took a slightly different route back to the where we had entered the woods, successfully using a slightly less steep route. Followed the West Loop back to the East Loop then took the left fork when reaching the Shatney Mountain Trail: very steep and rocky but a shorter way back to the car.
