Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: A couple but minor, barely memorable
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One tree on Manning trail looked like maybe struck by lightning? You could easily walk under it, but looked like it could eventually fall.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Ran into one dog heading up and several at summit, all leashed.
Bugs
Bugs: None, amazingly enough. Although I had sprayed down at trailhead for protection
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: None

Comments
Comments: Loved the loop heading up Manning and coming down Clark. The ascent was moderate, a few tough scrambles and rock slabs to get over. But this made the hike just challenging enough to be fun but not exhausting. Would absolutely recommend this loop. Coming down on Clark was one of the easiest descents I have ever done. And although the summit was crowded, mostly with camp kids, no one used Clark fortheir descent. Great day, great hike, gorgeous views, although a bit hazy. One of my favorite hikes.
