Approach from FR 17 is great if you want to hike somewhere with no one else around on a holiday weekend. About two miles of walking along an old road, then a pretty easy trail to follow up (a little overgrown and not blazed, but we didn't have trouble). There are some blowdowns, but nothing impossible- felt like a small price to pay for such a nice trail in the middle of nowhere. |
