 | Dog-Related Notes: |
My pups needed help in a couple places going up Twinway to S Twin, but it was mostly a matter of their packs getting stuck in narrow spaces. There was lots of mud and running water, they didn’t need any water from their packs. |

 | Bugs: |
Just a few deer flies late in the descent. Not bad at all. |

What a beautiful day! Nice and cool, no bugs, no wind, everyone I encountered was friendly. The pups made some friends on the N Twin outlook. Most mud and water was avoidable until the N Twin spur, where it was easiest to take a page from the dogs book and just walk through it. It was refreshingly cool 😎
Gale River Trail felt a lot shorter on the way in ... seemingly endless on the way out. Not quite Lincoln woods, no railroad ties. |
