A BIG THANK YOU TO THE OWNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Important! The beginning of this hike has been rerouted. You no longer go up the driveway. As you cross the street you will notice a fence on the right side of the driveway (bordering the field). It has a sign with an arrow. Follow up the edge of the field to where the woods begin. Another sign says "B.M. Trail", and as you progress up the hill there will be arrows to keep you on the right path. A lot of this is steep, but before you know it, you are there. Nice trail through a pretty woods. Lots of nice ferns. Excellent views of Presidentials. Perfect day for this. A good one if you don't have a lot of time or will be going home afterward. But do give yourself lots of time for lookout.
For those who feel awkward going up someone's driveway, you no longer have to, thanks to the nice folks for rerouting the beginning. |
