Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: I removed a lot of blowdown but the saw wasn't big enough for 1 crawl over and 1 duck under, and I only took out 1 of three spruce fir leaners thinking a stub would be worse.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: No problems for the mighty tough little dog other than ice between his toes because his dufous companion once again forgot to put some musher's wax on the paws.

Comments
Comments: I got a late start so a short hike to a great view led us to Cannon. I barebooted in crunchy supportive snowshoe prints to the top, but after getting over on Profile I put on the snowshoes to avoid damage to the trail on the down steps. Met a couple snowshoeing up so the trail should be well packed for snowshoes. I was surprised I saw no one else on the trail or on top. This trail looks so much better in winter snow.
