| Comments: |
First time in Huntington Ravine. Saw several others make it up.
There were a few wet patches on the headwall from yesterday’s rain that could mostly be avoided. The initial friction slab felt like the toughest part with the dampness but it eased up after that, at least if you stayed on trail. Another day of sun exposure and it should be great.
The wooded sections of Huntington Ravine Trail and Boott Spur Trail were an endless slog of wet rocks. My trail runners were slipping all day. |
