Trail Maintenance Notes: Dry River is in fine shape for a wilderness trail. It could use some brushing, but thats about it. It has, as well as Iso West, some pretty recent maintenance. Great job.

Comments: A FINE day in the forest. Unfortunately, I have lost my trail picking privileges after todays adventure, ha ha ha. I visted the Dry River Trail last year to Isolation and fell in love with the area. It is gorgeous, rugged, wild, untamed and forever changing. Of the 16.5 miles today, 14 of those saw not a single person. The views along the way are absolutely phenomenal. Along DRT, there are a pair of quite large washouts on the trail thanks to a pair named Sandy & Irene, that require some care, one has a defined herd path, the other is more or less like the wild west. These washouts will change and likely grow with time as they are straight sand/scree. DRT is quite a rolling trail that offers a lot of different footbeds that dont last for very long, so just wait a minute if you dont like it. No navigation issues, there are no blazes on the trail, but there are cairns to aid in guidance with washouts. Iso West was in fine shape and is a gorgeous trail. It's so wild and remote you honestly feel at any turn you could run into yogi or bullwinkle. Once we hit Davis, we found the parade, most out and backers from Glen Boulder. A few came up from Rocky Branch, he had full length khaki pants with zero mud on them. I found that odd after 3 days of rain. Found some familiar faces on Davis. Uneventful quiet upon return. We made good time coming out, coming in was mentally tough for us, we've been hitting it hard the last 4 days.

Also - huge congrats to Hannah for FINALLY finishing her 48 :)
