 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of parking at the Livermore trail-head in the am...lot filled upon return. |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
nothing terrible even after the rain |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails all in good shape....glad I was for the slide--speaking of which it could use some new blazes. I think I saw one the whole way up. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
One pup couldn't make it up the slide and had to retreat. Not a great trail for a dog IMO. I think they may have cut across to the Scaur Ridge trail to get up to the top? |
 | Bugs: |
Too cool. Only a few on a break on the slide, but not biting. |
 | Lost and Found: |
Found an empty bottle of ketchup on the top of Tri....who brings a bottle of ketchup up to the top but can't take a mostly empty bottle back down? I guess some hikers are used to their moms picking up after them. Ketchup??? |

 | Comments: |
My first first time up the slide. Won't be the last but its a challenging trail for sure! Hiked back with a fellow slider Angela who's got a great spirit! Great day to be in the Whites for sure. |
