Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The crossing of Ellis River was low, but still tricky. Most rocks are still underwater and some that aren't are very slippery. I slipped into the drink both going out and coming back, dunking both boots. With normal water levels, this crossing requires wading.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: No blazes on this trail. A few high widowmakers and several easy stepovers. No signage marking the falls.

Comments
Comments: A pretty straightforward hike out to the falls along an old logging road which the trail follows. Easy grades the whole way. Despite the drought, there are some muddy sections.

The falls themselves are flowing but only lightly. Ridiculous humidity. Think I would have been drier jumping in the pool at the base of the falls.
