The brook crossing at 0.4 mile had a low water level, so it could be crossed with care on rocks. It could also be forded easily. Point of information: the Israel River is much narrower here compared to in downtown Lancaster. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
I only hiked in 1.3 miles to get the lay of the land for future reference. The trail is in great shape, thank you maintainer. The trailhead, left turn just after the gate, and intersection with the Israel Ridge Trail are well marked. |
