 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Nothing significant, as everything is so dry
Of note: the aforementioned "mud- minor/avoidable" sections were truly insignificant |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Well blazed (yellow) and no blowdowns encountered |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
We encountered a few beautiful dogs- most of which were on leash; all well behaved and seemed to be enjoying the outdoors |
 | Bugs: |
very few flies at the trailhead only |
 | Lost and Found: |
Light blue/white "tilted barn" baseball style hat hanging on a tree
Brown/orange scarf tied to a tree |
 | Comments: |
A light rain started town the end of our hike- of course, moderately well protected from all of the surrounding hardwood trees' leaves
We had no larger wildlife encounters this time- we'd been hoping for a pine martin siting ;-) only enjoyed the birds and chipmunks
2nd time summiting these two peaks. Very lovely, gradual hike. |
