Comments
Comments: Monday was a beautiful day to hike Zealand-Bonds, even though it rained within minutes of the start of my hike, and poured a few minutes after I got to my car at the end. The weather did make me wonder if weather forecasters have the most useless job ever, as the forecast had called for clear skies for most of the day. Instead, Guyot was socked in with no views and I began to wonder if I would ever get views from the Bonds. Luckily, as I approached West Bond, the clouds cleared and there were amazing views of the Pemi and beyond. It was lovely.
I had been counting on a water refill at the first water crossing after descending Bondcliff, but the first three crossings were completely dry. Luckily water was plentiful further down Bondcliff Trail and I was able to refill.
