| Date of Hike: |
Wednesday, June 16, 2021 |
| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
At 7:45, plenty at both trailheads (Ethan Pond, Avalon). At 3, there were more cars present at both places, but not full, being midweek. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All easy rock hops. The prolonged rain shortfall lets the ground soak up recent rain easily, reducing swelling of streams after a rain. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
All the trails were in good shape. At the top of Tom, there is a little minor encroachment of growth onto the trail; some light trimming is in order. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw a pair with saddle bags, enjoying the hike, too. |
| Bugs: |
None, really. Weather was cool and breezy. |
