| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Large parking lot. No fees. Only 2 cars there when we arrived at 8:40am on a Sunday. It was pretty full when we left, but being we only ran into 3 couples on our descent, I’m guessing most were there for Hedgehog. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Downes Brook - water level low, easily crossed, my 15lb JRT loved playing in the water. I hiked this same trail in September 2020 and water was low then too. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Only dog we saw was my dog. I found it difficult to hike over the rocky traverse with him leashed, so I allowed him off leash at that section during our descent. Could be he just needs better leash etiquette. |
|
| Bugs: |
Surprisingly, none. Thinking we may be in between black flies/gnats and deer flies. |

| Comments: |
It was a beautiful, clear and mild temperature day. I love Potash as the views are great and the sun was behind us at the summit so there was no haze and our photos turned out gorgeous. |
