Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I showed up at 2 AM and was very surprised to find a half dozen cars in the lot. They must have all been camping or in the hut, because I didn't see a soul until well after sunrise.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: a couple of very easy rock hops across streams

Trail Maintenance Notes: trails were in great shape. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I didn't bring my dogs. Didn't see many either. I don't think I'd be thrilled taking my dogs on Garfield Ridge without paw protection

Bugs: minor after that sum warmed things up.
