I showed up at 2 AM and was very surprised to find a half dozen cars in the lot. They must have all been camping or in the hut, because I didn't see a soul until well after sunrise. |

a couple of very easy rock hops across streams |

trails were in great shape. |

I didn't bring my dogs. Didn't see many either. I don't think I'd be thrilled taking my dogs on Garfield Ridge without paw protection |
