6 cars on arrival at 7 AM, at departure at 4:00 it looked like the lot had gotten full as cars were parked on the short access road |

Both trails were in excellent condition. I met JR the train steward for this section of the Kinsman Ridge Trail. What a great guy! Thank you for your care of our mountains |

I planned my ascent up to North and South Kinsman on the Mt Kinsman trail to avoid the crowds coming up from Lonesome Lake on a Saturday. What a great choice! Mt Kinsman Trail is not very eroded and quite pleasant. |
