Mosquitos were bad at the northern parking lot and on the southern portion of the trail. |

The northern section is, as others have commented before me, in excellent shape. Probably the nicest footbed in the White Mountains. Heading down toward Birch Road on the southern side is more like the usual redlining/tracing experience. Overgrown trail, but the footbed is usually easy to follow and the blazes are there if you look for them. There are a couple of areas where flagging tape is used as well. |
