water crossings in the great gulf were all running low and were quite easy, but use caution in times of heavy rain/high water. |

nelson crag trail could use some brushing below treeline. |

would emphatically discourage trying to bring a dog up six husbands trail due to the ladders. |

trails all generally dry and quite nice. real good footing for the various scrambles and ladders on six husbands trail.
very nice day. haven't been on some of these trails for a long time and it was great to revisit them. six husbands was even more impressive than i remembered it. amazing views and some enjoyable scrambling. really a perfect day to be above treeline. thanks to cynthia for a great hike. |
