Bugs
Bugs: Not bad at all. Bothersome when stopped, and they are biting. Repellent didn't last long in this morning's liquid environment.

Comments
Comments: Great hike with varied conditions. It was outrageously humid and warm at the start and the clouds were low and in your face. I was so wet I didn't even realize it was raining. Just for a bit. I rested on the Avalon outlook with clouds swirling around and zero visability, but as the morning wore on the views opened up. Not much breeze and it stayed warm and a tad less humid. I shared Avalon with someone taking a morning run, but so no others until after crossing Field again on the way to Tom. Met 7 hikers. Great day to be out there.
