Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Easy hops or stepovers. On the second to last river crossing on the way down it's steep and there is a little pool right at you elbow and a flat rock to set hat and glasses for a nice freshen up head soaking. Awesome.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are in nice shape. Lots of work went in to cutting al the blowdowns out of the way on the traverse. Thanks maintainers. Just 2 stepovers/climb overs on the steep up to the north peak.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw 4 well behaved pups.
Bugs
Bugs: After a few recent hikes with terrible bugs, I applied repellent at the car and didn't have any issues. Black flies started in when stopped, but at low intensity.

Comments
Comments: After starting out I didn't see anyone until I got to the split where I met a runner coming down from the South peak. Nobody else until I started down from the south myself where I met several parties going counterclockwise. From the split to the Jeep I met over 30 people on the way up. Busy day. The trail was wet from last evening's rain, and as the day went on it didn't dry out much as the rocks are sweating in the heat/humidity. Hazy but wonderful views where afforded. Great hike.
