Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Only one dog sighted, but it was hot! Good hike for a dog though - shouldn't be any issues with taking your 4 pawed friends.
Bugs
Bugs: Started to get bad 3/4 the way up. Horrible at the top. Saw some people wearing bug nets. Put bug dope on my arms, face and neck. Skipped my legs. Bad idea. Paying for it now. A few we talked with said they could not sit at the outlook to take in the view. We lasted 20 minutes, but it was tough. Bugs ok if you keep moving.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: None

Comments
Comments: Nice hike. Some loose rocks. Gradual incline for first 60%, then very steep. Ladders are not a big deal. Wooden, and more like a staircase. Not "climbing" with hands and feet. 10 of them. No view at the summit - just a cairn. Overlook before the summit has a decent view. Unfortunately buggy as stated above.
