First time hiking the Wildcat Ridge Trail from the Route 16 side. The first 3/4 of a mile is relentlessly steep. Like walking up stairs, except you're taking 2-3 stairs at a time. Great trail though, with excellent views. Interesting ledges, boulder caves and rock formation along the way. |
