A few water crossings on Great Gulf Trail and Sphinx took a little scouting to find good locations to cross, but water levels were not bad. |

There were a few blowdowns on Sphinx Trail |

Black flies were swarming and biting above tree line on Osgood. The wind had died down a bit at that point and Picaridin did not keep them away. Luckily, they disappeared once we were below tree line. |

 | Comments: |
We only encountered snow on trail at the Jefferson snow field. It is still a no-fall area. We had spikes, but we could easily plunge step as we slowly made our way across since it was a rather warm day.
Alpine flowers are really starting to pop and were beautiful. |
