| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail is in good shape. There is one huge maple (?) blowdown (roots and all) across the trail around halfway. A lot of small logs have been piled up on both sides and under, making it easy to straddle the log and swing legs over. But a section of this log ought to be removed sometime. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
There was one young, very energetic and friendly one enjoying the hike. |
|
| Bugs: |
Maybe a couple, but not noticed while moving. Up top was cool (low 50s) and breezy, so none there. |

Nice hike good visibility across the notch to Washington and northern presidentials, with some high snow patches there. Snow and ice totally gone from C-M trail. |
