Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: One or two small water crossings. Easily passed via rock hopping.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A couple of blow downs. Pay attention on the switchbacks. There are a couple off shots that will take you the wrong way. These are mostly blocked by a few logs laid perpendicularly across the trail.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Should be dog friendly. No particularly steep sections or scrambling.
Bugs
Bugs: Surprisingly very few insects. Noticed a handful of mosquitoes at lower elevation, but apparently they weren’t very hungry. No insect repellent needed.

Comments
Comments: A decent amount of elevation gain, but all up a fairly tame hike. The first couple miles of signal ridge trail meander a bit, but an enjoyable stroll nonetheless. Unfortunately, I was socked in on Signal Ridge and the summit, but I hear the views are pretty good.
