One blowdown (high enough to easily walk under) on the LEDGE TRAIL. Another blowdown just after climbing the top of the stairs on PINE MOUNTAIN LOOP TRAIL (very near the junction with Pine Mountain Trail & Ledge Trail) |

Was so great to be back after a few decades. . . and enjoyed our visit to Chapel Rock (before it is soon seasonally closed off to hikers effective June 1st for camp season) as well as the 3 spur trails (Angel View, Gorham View and Chapel View). Also glad to have spent a little time enjoying the view of Mt Madison and beyond from the beautiful carved memorial "bench" on Pinkham Ledge. Lovely, peaceful hike :-) |
